Who we are

More than homework help

TRU-Impact Inc. is a Rochester, New York nonprofit that matches students with TRU-Impact Coaches for tutoring and mentoring, online or in small groups. Our coaches help with the subjects students find hardest, and they stay in each student’s corner from the first session to graduation day.

We go beyond academics. Through honest feedback, academic enrichment and our I SAID core values, we help young people develop discipline, self-awareness, integrity and the confidence to succeed, with families involved every step of the way.
  • Personalized one-on-one and small-group tutoring
  • Caring mentors who set goals with every student
  • Character and life-skills development
  • Family and community support
